1
INITIAL CONSULTATION
With our mobile showroom, Steve Ardi, owner and
design professional, will meet with you at your home or any location that is most convenient for you. Our mobile showroom features a curated selection of cabinetry, countertops, and cabinetry hardware on display, allowing you to see and feel the quality firsthand. We’ll present high-end, mid-range, and budget-friendly options, while explaining the distinctions between each collection.
Before we begin, we will have a conversation to better understand your goals and preferences for the project. We will discuss the following:
-
Your daily activities and how the space is used
-
Who will be using the kitchen
-
The size of your household, including children or other family members
-
Your primary objectives for this remodel
-
Whether you need additional countertop space or more storage
-
Your design preferences for functionality and style
-
How often do you entertain or host gatherings?
-
Are there any specific appliances or features you’d like to include?
-
What are the current pain points or inefficiencies in your space?
This personalized process ensures we identify your unique style, goals, and budget, delivering a tailored approach that aligns perfectly with your vision.
NOTE: If the initial consultation is not at your home, we will set up a site visit for measurements and a visual assessment, or if working with a designer/architect please send us your drawings for review, along with inspiration photos

PRELIMINARY DESIGN (ESTABLISHING A BUDGET)
Other Retainer Fees:
-
Pantries, Laundry Rooms, Closets, Mud Rooms, Bars, Coffee Bars, Benches, Hall Trees, Built-Ins, and Bookcases: $1,000
-
Bathroom Vanities and Fireplace Surrounds: $500
After reviewing your measurements and inspiration photos, we will provide you with preliminary pricing for your cabinetry (cabinetry only). Upon request, we can also include pricing for countertops, appliances and hardware. If requested, we can also provide installation pricing and full renovation estimates through our construction division, Bay Valley Construction. Please note that this is an initial estimate meant to help you assess the project’s feasibility.
If the pricing aligns with your budget and you wish to proceed, a $2,500.00 retainer is required to begin the Design Phase. This retainer is not an additional fee; the full amount will be credited toward your cabinetry purchase if made within 60 days of this agreement.
Should you choose not to move forward with the cabinetry purchase, the designs and renderings created during this process will be yours to keep. However, the retainer paid to Rock Valley Cabinetry is non-refundable.
3
DESIGN PHASE
During this phase, we will create detailed drawings and design renders, including cabinetry layouts, floor plans, elevations with measurements, and a visual representation of your project. After presenting these designs, we will schedule a follow-up meeting to review/ walk-through site to make adjustments, or finalize the design.
During this process, we allow up to two changes within the same cabinetry line at no additional cost. Any changes beyond that will incur a $200 fee per change. .
4
FINAL CONTRACT / DEPOSIT
Upon finalizing the design drawings, renders, and all project details, a formal estimate will be provided for review. All required documents related to the estimate and design drawings/renders along with a wood finish agreement must be carefully reviewed and signed.
To proceed with the project, a 70% deposit of the cabinetry cost is required. Once the signed documents and deposit are received, the order will be placed within 24-48hrs hours. Please note, no orders will be placed without the signed documents and the required 70% deposit.
5
ORDER CONFIRMATION / MANUFACTURING PROCESS
Once the order is confirmed and entered into our system, we will receive an initial acknowledgment from the cabinet manufacturer within 24 to 48 hours. This acknowledgment will include an estimated delivery week, and the manufacturing process will officially begin at that time. This acknowledgment serves as a timeline for production and helps us keep you informed of the progress.
Throughout the manufacturing process, we will closely monitor the order to ensure it is completed on schedule.
Once the cabinets are completed and shipped to our warehouse, we will set up delivery within 7 to 10 days. The full balance of payment is required 7 days prior to scheduling delivery.
